I want to make this a fun place for others to see good lookin’ food pics, experience my journey as I go, and maybe learn a thing or two

Eating is the one thing we all have in common, so why not talk about it more? I personally love to see and hear about other people’s food experiences. I’d love to share the delicious food I eat with others who share that same love of food. I also want to share knowledge, recipes, and personal experiences with others that are important to me and may be able to help someone along the way.

Why I stopped dieting

At first glance my article seems to consider some tips for well being and etc …. But not at all we will talk about personal development and I bet that many girls who have been described as round (or fat to do speak more brutally ) will recognize themselves.
I was during a long time indexed for my problem of “overweight”. It’s important to classify those remarks in two categories.
The first category will be called the category of “if you lose weight you will be healthier”.This category seems the most logical and the most legitimate given the many health problems that can cause overweight or obesity.
The second category is the one that will be indexed. The category “You would be prettier if you lost a little weight.”I have heard many remarks in the second category.
Overweight is something that I have been coping with since childhood. I do…

We Made It To The Weekend; Fuck It, Let’s Eat Lots Of Carbs!!

bread, carbs, cooking, food, happiness, life, marriage, Midwest, real shit

It’s been a long week, and I’ve been very good about eating less carbs, but now it’s the weekend so fuck it! Let’s cut loose a little! For our Friday night weekend kickoff, I made penne with mini meatballs and a side of Italian herb and Parmesan bread. I’ll be perfectly honest here; I’m very good at making meatballs from scratch, but I didn’t this time because I didn’t feel like going to the store and the frozen kind were available for delivery on Amazon Prime Now. Groceries delivered? Fuck yeah. So there’s not much awe involved in boiling pasta and heating up frozen meatballs in sauce.

What I really want to talk about is the bread. I was having a massive carb craving and wanted some kind of awesome bread, but all I had was leftover hamburger buns. Thankfully, I grew up in a poor household in the Midwest…

Do you have recipe pet peeves? If you do, I’d love to hear them in the comments. I have a few. I don’t love when something is listed in a smaller unit of measurement than necessary (don’t say 4 tablespoons, say ¼ cup, for example). I prefer when something says the whole amount need in the ingredients list rather than list it 3 times (say 1 teaspoon of salt, divided). But those are mostly my preferences.

I do have conflicting pet peeves, actually. I hate when recipes call for an amount of cooked meat, like chicken. I rarely have precooked chicken just sitting around. And without the steps in the recipe, sometimes I find myself half way in and realize I need to cook the darn chicken. BUT another pet peeve is to have a million steps to make something that is just one part of a larger whole that…
